ShinyEye have recently completely a project with Acrylicize, a London-based specialist studio that creates art and interior features for commercial and residential spaces. Acrylicize were commissioned to produce a permanent installation in the lobby of the Aldgate Tower in London’s east end. Their concept was to project an animated London street scene that interactively fills with characters depending on the time of day and busyness of the street outside.
We were approached to work with their designers and programmers and animated hundreds of elements, everything from cyclists to graffiti artists, which gave their technical wizards enough content to stitch the scenes together and create an ever changing, moving piece of art. The end result is epic.
